The young couple were nearing Kakariko village early the following morning. They have been traveling for two days. Link trotted while leading Epona while Ilia lay against the strong horse trying her best to stay awake. The warm sun shined continually against Ilia’s back. It felt as if someone were scratching her back into a relentless rhythm. While trotting along the path, Epona accidently fell a step which caused the sleepy Ilia to wake up completely. Link stopped to see his loved one awake. He simply smiled at her once their eyes met.
