Link and Ilia

           It was late afternoon when the Ordon children came home from Kakariko. Once Ilia jumped off the carriage she ran into her father’s arms and began crying. They hugged each other as if they were one. She smiled to see everyone back home. Ilia looked up into her father’s eyes, tears pouring down. Bo smiled and wiped them away and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Ilia laughed and continued hugging. After the reunion Ilia and Bo had a family dinner catching up.

            At dinner Ilia told the whole story from when she shot by the arrow to the end when she got her memory back. “It was terrifying father!! I lost my memory and when Link came to the bar to save me and didn’t say a thing to him” Ilia said. “Now looking back I felt like it was all a dream and I couldn’t wake up” Bo nodded and poured some more soup into Ilia’s bowl as she sipped her water.

“Question Ilia…you said you lost your memory? Who help you regain it?” Bo asked. Bo’s daughter sighed, “Father…please as I said Link did” Bo grinned and gulped his soup. “Ah, young strong Link, eh? You know Ilia; Link is a really good boy? Maybe you should…well you know go with the guy” Ilia choked on her bread. She looked up at her father and stared.

          “FATHER?!” Ilia yelped. “Please!! I just came home and now you are implying I should date Link?!” Bo sipped his water as if nothing happened. “Well…since your mother passed I have to be the one to tell you about finding yah know…your true one. Since you are becoming of age” Bo smiled and resumed, “By the way sweet pea, where is the young fellow?” Ilia looked away and stared through the window. She shrugged.

         After dinner Bo and Ilia got ready for bed. Bo was already snoozing away while Ilia was thinking. Foolish father…fall in love with Link. Link the one who is my best friend, Link the one who saved my memory, Link the one was always by my side through thick and thin. Link the one that was threw everything with me!! Ilia sat on her bed. She picked up her picture of her and Link when they were children.  

-FLASHBACK-

              “Link!! I see you!! You can’t hide!!” Ilia laughed. Link was hiding under the bridge. “Ahh…darn it!! I’ll just have to find a better spot then!!” Link said folding his arms. Ilia giggled and jumped on Link causing both of them to fall. They laughed almost killing their sides. “Link we’ll be friends forever right?” Ilia asked. Link grinned. “Of course Ilia!! Friends forever!!” Link replied

-END OF FLASHBACK-

          Ilia place the picture back. She lay on the bed. What if I do like Link? Ilia thought. She then covered herself in the sheets and went into dreamland.
Link…where are you?
